Here is a set that I sold recently, I paid $0.50 for the cups and $0.50 for the spoons:
SOLD - $17.50
Foley is a good brand to look out for, and also Ekco - but really I don't think the brand has too much to do with the value. Stainless steel seems like it might be a bit more in demand than aluminum, but I would say any metal ones are worth picking up, really... Try to only get ones that are in very good condition - a few normal use spots and scratches are fine, but if they are really worn go ahead and pass on them. Just ask yourself - would I use these to cook with? If the answer is yes, you have a winner!
Here are some others that I found in the eBay recently completed listings that sold for quite a bit more than my set did:
SOLD - $43.77
from eBay seller mollybeth21
(There was a bit of a bidding war for these- the round spoons are a little unusual, I wonder if that is why?)
SOLD - $39.00
from eBay seller thosegirls
(Pastel aluminum kitchenware is pretty hot right now no matter what it is, this set is an interesting shape plus the cups are actually scoops, neat!)
SOLD - $39.99
from eBay seller ecoyer
(I've never seen these double ended measuring spoons before, how cool are they! Also the 2 cup and 1/8 cup measuring cups are probably a bit harder to find...)
SOLD - $40.00
from eBay seller BINobo
(This set is extra cool because it comes with a rack - I've never seen one of those before!)
By the way, you can list just a set of spoons, or just a set of measuring cups, and they will sell also - but it seems like the highest prices go to the listings that have both in them...
Head on over and check out the complete list of recently ended items on eBay (this will show you all the listings for vintage measuring spoons - it isn't only the metal ones that sell!) or click below to see what is currently listed for sale - and be sure to keep an eye out the next time you are out hunting! :)

Wow, thanks, didn't know that. I need to check out what is selling on ebay more often.
Amazing! But I shouldnt be surprised,
I have most of those sets & love them.
Use them every day. So much better than
the plastic ones that absorb odors &
who knows what type of plastic they are
made of & what kind of chemicals they
leech.
Love the blog!xo
My first thoughts upon seeing your pics are "if I saw those in my treasure hunting places I would pass them by" but upon reading your helpful post, the thought I'd pass on to your is "I love you!" Thanks for this informative heads up. I'll be on the lookout for some of these.
Awww, you guys rock! That's what I'm here for - I'm really trying to share the items that I don't see talked about too often, that I have personally sold or sell on a fairly regular basis. That's the kind of stuff you need to have a sustainable business - sure the super scores are the fun part, but it's solid little items like these that help keep the sales rolling in ;)
I usually pick up metal measuring spoons and cups for myself, so when I am cooking, I don't have to wash them as I use them, but I will now look for more to sell, thanks, Friend!
Huh, who would have thought? I will have to keep my eyes peeled. What about stainless mixing bowls?
Looks like the vintage stainless mixing bowls are worth picking up as well! Revere Ware, West Bend, Vollrath, Carrollton, Kitchen Aid, are some brands to keep an eye out for (thanks for asking about those, hopefully I can score some now! hehe)
